SKU and barcode cleanup: one product at a time Start small - Choose one familiar product or a small batch. - Save the original stock and listing exports before making changes. - Keep SKU and barcode columns as text, including leading zeros. Follow the product - Record each Channel, listing ID, current SKU and barcode in the review CSV. - Check variant, condition, pack size and stock pool before combining records. - A shared title or barcode alone does not establish that two records should merge. Agree the next step - Note the reference SKU and any barcode correction supported by product evidence. - Leave uncertain proposed codes blank and record the question to resolve. - Add a name and next action; if you work alone, that can be you. - Preserve old codes in your notes so earlier records remain traceable. Apply a small reviewed change - The supplied CSV is a review worksheet, not a direct ChannelWeave stock import. - Use the receiving system's editing workflow or prepare its required import format. - Validate and review a small batch before applying it. Check and keep the result - Confirm each affected listing points to the intended product and stock pool. - Check existing orders and references still make sense. - Verify the intended behaviour without an unplanned live stock change. - Keep the original export, agreed changes and check result together. Worksheet examples are illustrative. Use your own verified product identifiers. Guide: https://www.channelweave.com/resources/templates/sku-barcode-cleanup-checklist
