Use Inbox when the next step is communication rather than fulfilment. For stock, listing, and order actions, use the linked records in Sales, Inventory, or Channels.
Areas in Inbox
- Messages: buyer and channel conversations
- Offers: eBay best-offer actions (accept, decline, counter)
Badge behaviour
- Inbox badge = unread messages + unactioned offers

Where messages come from
Inbox can show conversations linked to Amazon, eBay, Shopify and Website workflows when the relevant channel setup supports the message type. Some channels support outbound replies from ChannelWeave; others may still require you to finish the conversation in the channel's own seller/admin tools.
Operational habit
Review Inbox alongside Sales → Orders. Buyer messages often explain why an order is delayed, why an address needs checking, or why an offer should be accepted, declined, or countered.
