Overview

Use Sales to manage orders, buyers, and buyer groups.

Sales is where you run day-to-day order operations.

Working model

Sales connects incoming orders, buyer records, fulfilment work, and buyer messages. Start from Orders when work needs dispatch or payment attention, then drill into buyers, stock allocations, or Inbox conversations as needed.

Areas in Sales

  • Orders: process, dispatch, and update sales orders
  • Buyers: maintain buyer records
  • Buyer groups: organise buyers into reusable group structures
  • Order health: monitor dispatch pressure and order workload by channel
  • Rules and automation: review the safe operating pattern for rule-assisted work

Sales work often links with:

  • Inbox → Offers
  • Inbox → Messages

Use Contact buyer from an order detail page when the order channel supports it. Sent messages appear in Inbox so order communication remains visible beside other channel conversations.

  1. Open Order health to check workload and dispatch pressure.
  2. Use Orders quick filters to process in-progress, to-pick, and awaiting-payment work.
  3. Open order detail for allocation, dispatch, delivery, cancellation, or buyer contact.
  4. Use Buyers and Buyer groups when customer details or segmentation need tidying.
  5. Review Inbox for replies, incoming buyer messages, and eBay offers.
