Last updated:

Use Inventory → Allocated lines to review stock that is reserved against open sales orders. A line is allocated when an order claims available stock, so this view shows where your available quantity is committed. It is also reachable as a drill-down from Stock items and from order workflows.

Columns

  • Stock: the reserved stock item — opens the stock item detail form
  • Order: the sales order holding the reservation
  • Buyer: the buyer on that order
  • Dates: the relevant order and allocation dates
  • Allocated: quantity reserved for the order
  • Dispatched: quantity already sent
  • To pick: quantity still outstanding for picking
  • Status: the line's fulfilment state

Actions

  • Clear stock filter: return to the full list after drilling in from a single stock item
  • Stock items: jump back to the Stock items list

Filters and sorting

Use the channel filter to review allocations for Amazon, eBay, Shopify and Website, or POS orders. The default sort prioritises the soonest Ship by date, so pick work with the nearest deadline appears first.

How to read allocation quantities

  • Allocated is the quantity reserved against the order line.
  • Dispatched is the quantity already sent.
  • To pick is the remaining quantity that still needs warehouse action.

When a stock item uses sales/listing units, allocation still protects the underlying base inventory quantity so warehouse balances stay accurate.
